Biography
· Starting out with an Architectural and Industrial Design bachelor degree, Jennifer has tenured in project management, design, sales and marketing for over twenty years within the construction industries. Having studied and worked in Australia, the UK and Canada, Ms. Stubbs is well versed in International Design. In recent years, Jennifer has managed the intricate interiors of multi storey condominiums, specializing in finishes, purchasing, customizations, site construction issues, and client contact and customer service. Toronto custom projects such as those in Hogs Hollow, Bay view and Lawrence, One King West , Dufferin and Steeles and Bloor and Islington, have required a comprehensive understanding of technical issues for each home or suite. Each project has also required a full understanding of high-end clients. An understanding also of applied product costs, procurement procedures, and the Developer’s mandate have played an important part of the consultations.
· Being a “master” of many trades has originated from hands on experience in the fields of renovation, residential, office and commercial design, millwork ,furniture, kitchen and bathrooms, appliances, plumbing, lighting, audio, ceramic ,stone and flooring. Design, Procurement and administrative work in all of these fields have rounded off Jennifer’s expertise.
· Canadian Experience: Interior design, project management and procurement have remained at the forefront, alongside marketing. Working with several prominent Canadian builders such as ALTERRA, TRIDEL, CAMROST, DIAMANTE, SHIU PONG, PROJECTCORE and the MIRVISH GROUP OF COMPANIES has expanded Jennifer’s palette. Commercial experience in Canada includes nation wide co ordinations for TEKNION (Nova Scotia and TD banks), and the ONE KING WEST HOTEL. Five years of renovation & millwork installations with PARIS KITCHENS and a certificate of kitchen and bath design has proven essential in the successful planning of millwork. Knowledge of interior building materials, especially stone and ceramic stems from tenure at CIOT and COUNTRY FLOORS (stone and ceramic importers).
